CONSIDERATIONS ON ETHICAL VALUES DURING COVID 19 PANDEMIC PERIOD. NURSING PROFESSIONAL CASE
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article arises from the need to demonstrate the development of values practiced by the nursing professional in Cuba during COVID 19 pandemic stage. All this, in the midst of the global crisis of values. A descriptive, integrative and systemic thematic review of original and review articles of sources corresponding to the years 2017-2021 was carried out in the scientific publications SciELO, PubMed, Scientific Electronic Library on Line, Dialnet and Elsevier. Twelve articles that met the search criteria were retrieved. In addition, the incorporation of observation as a basic method of research was taken into account in a group of nursing professionals from the XX Aniversario polyclinics, Chiqui Gómez Lubián and Martha Abreu, all from the city of Santa Clara, Villa Clara, Cuba. It was concluded, stating that the care and procedures of the nursing staff supported by the values of responsibility, humanism, integrity, fidelity, and internationalism with critical, scientific and innovative reasoning make the nursing professional in Cuba a bulwark for the care of its population. All this, based on a prosperous and healthy future both in the physical-clinical and psychological
aspects, as well as in relation to social and environmental education.
