Main Article Content
Abstract
The work highlights the importance of environmental regulation of the new economic actors, among them,
the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MIPYME) of Villa Clara province, as a new work projection of
the Regulation and Environmental Safety Office (ORSA in Spanish) of the Ministry of Science,
Technology and Environment, the National Regulatory Authority. Also, improve the regulatory role of its
specialists and promote multidisciplinary work based on decision-making when granting the respective
environmental authorizations, which constitutes a challenge accepted by the ORSA in Villa Clara
province, which required its members a constant study and self-preparation, for the correct evaluation of
technologies and waste management, whether liquid, solid or gaseous, that affect the environment, for
each type of activity in correspondence with the corporate purpose of the MSME, with the objective of
making worthwhile the authorization process and contributing to the economic development of the
country, enforcing current environmental legislation.
