User centered design on the RedTic website, Cuba

Abstract
The objective of this research is to suggest a redesign of the University Cooperation Network strengthening the role of ICT in Cuban universities for the development of the society from the user -centered design. This network is an international project between 6 universities in Cuba and 5 from Belgium. In this research, several research methods and techniques were used, among which the ethnographic method and qualitative perspective to describe the mental model and behavior of potential users of said site stands out. To culminate the redesign of the website, it is done in WordPress, prioritizing within it, the aggregation of content that favor the visibility of the project. Finally, in addition, to make possible the availability of functionalities that enhance usability and web accessibility.
