Procedure for the strategic planning implementation with a prospective approach in organizations

Abstract
The general objective of this research is to propose a process for the strategic planning
implementation with a prospective approach in organizations. It consists on a set of 10 steps that
go from strategic reflection to the evaluation and follow-up of the implemented process, always
considering the learning process´ timely feedback and its constant improvement. The research is
based on an exhaustive documentary review and on the practical application of the professors´
knowledge at the Central University "Marta Abreu" de Las Villas Center for Business
Management Studies of the Faculty of Economics, on advisory and consultancy services to a
group of institutions and companies of the country´s central region that has made it possible to
systematize a process for the implementation of strategic planning with a prospective approach
that can be adapted to any organization that wants to carry out a strategic projection. The
proposed process has been applied in a certain number of organizations and institutions in the
central region, and it has proved its effectiveness.
