Abstract

People 60 years of age or older is growing faster than that of all other age groups and it is expected that by 2050 there are 2000 million people with more than 60 years old. From the project “Strategic Management of Attention to Population Aging for sustainable development in Villa Clara province it is proposed to address intergenerational communication in the training of managers for the management of population aging from the organizational framework. This brief communication aims to expose the main theoretical nuclei and orientations for the systematized practice from the aforementioned research project for the treatment of intergenerational communication in labor organizations, specifically, its integration into the management of managers. Intergenerational communication refers to those communicative forms between different age groups. Intergenerational communication management can positively impact on the increase in productivity and efficiency, as well as contribute to the health and well -being of employees and managers in the workplace. Multigenerational learning and teaching can help break the barriers that are created in labor relations due to generational coexistence. It is imperative that employees and managers access educational programs that help to understand the problems of intergenerational communication and the means and methods to manage it.
