Social networks and their impact on the managers labor in Cuba
Main Article Content
Abstract
The new information and communication technologies, not so new today, have modified communication practices with an impact on all kinds of social practices, including management. Within this megaphenomenon, social networks play a preponderant role because they constitute its most socializing expression, as they contain the most relevant aspects of this process: internalization and control. The reflection of this position article focuses specifically on the social networks-ideology relationship and its figure on the work of managers, who from their role must have all the tools, especially in the political and ideological order, to be inserted in this medium and become agents of thought mobilization. We conclude that it is important to overcome the uncritical assimilation of these technologies because it also concerns us ideologically. This dependence is more dangerous and predatory than the economic-financial one because it contains and transcends it, given its capacity to stimulate lifestyles discordant with the principles of the Cuban social project, as well as to make succumb to intellectual colonialism.
