Abstract
The present research focuses on the design of a strategy for environmental communication in the Faculty of Humanities, having as a research question: How to optimize environmental communication in the Faculty of Humanities of the Central University “Marta Abreu” of Las Villas? For this reason, the objective is: To propose a strategy for environmental communication in the Faculty of Humanities at the “Marta Abreu” Central University of Las Villas. It aspires to promote environmental sustainability with responsibility in students and professors of the Faculty of Humanities. To achieve this, the current state of environmental communication in these was diagnosed and a messaging strategy was designed to promote environmental culture among internal audiences. The diagnosis revealed that sustainability is addressed mainly from the curriculum, with few extracurricular activities that reinforce this approach. It is recommended to evaluate the implementation using key performance indicators for the implementation of the actions and the achievement of the desired results.
