Scientific reserve and young talent in Villa Clara. Action plan for their rescue
Main Article Content
Abstract
The care of talent in the new generations is a current problem of necessity for the development of the country and our society. From the limited actions of vocational training and professional orientation towards the profiles of the basic sciences that are offered to them, the improvement of the work with talented students, the scientific reserve and the link with the Vocational Pre-University Institute of Exact Sciences (IPVCE) constitutes a priority for the Cuban State, through tools that are introduced for its rescue, being also a fundamental input for the natural renewal of the scientific and technological potential in the province of Villa Clara. To guarantee the continuity of the scientific potential, work was done on the design of strategies for attracting and preparing young talents that guarantee the sustainability of the lines of research necessary for the development of the country and the rescue of the scientific reserve. All of the above materialized in the integration of CITMA with the IPVCE together with the wide potential existing in the territory in science, technology and innovation entities, universities and other centers that do science, ensuring this purpose in a real and practical way. As a result of the investigation, the proposal for an action plan was presented to be implemented in the IPVCE and the “Marta Abreu” de Las Villas Central University as ideal scenarios for generating scientific results.
